Healthy French Toast Recipe

 

French Toast with Whole Grain Bread

Ingredients:
2 slices of whole grain bread
1 brown egg
1/4 cup of oat milk 
1/4 tsp of vanilla extract 
1/4 tsp of cinnamon 
1 tbsp of olive oil 

Directions:
1. Mix the egg, milk, extract and cinnamon in a small dish with a flat bottom. Place the bread slices on the mixture and flip so both sides soak it up.

2. Heat up a medium size pan on medium/high heat. Add the olive oil and allow to heat up. 

3. Place the soaked bread slices on the heated pan. Cook each side for 3 minutes. Allow to cool a bit and add sugar-free syrup 😋 👌🏽
